Egyptian events and culture site: a big event month, then steady traffic

The situation

This client is an events and culture site in Egypt. Most of an event site's traffic arrives in one month, so what the site holds on to afterwards matters as much as the peak. Search Console data for this site starts in January 2026.

What I did

I work on the site's search performance. A seasonal site has two jobs in general: being ready to be found when the event month arrives, and keeping the rest of its pages useful so search traffic does not fall to nothing afterwards. This page does not list which changes were made on this site. It shows what Search Console recorded. The aim of that work is for the pages that matter to appear more often in results and get clicked more. Clicks are visits from Google results, and impressions are how often the site appeared in them. Only full months are counted.

The result

In January 2026, the event month, the site got 58,410 search clicks and 1.07 million impressions. Clicks fell to 18,423 in February and then settled between 9,186 and 11,562 a month from March to September. That means 11,269 clicks in August and 10,828 in September, months after the event.

Outside the event season, clicks grew 26% between May and July 2026, from 9,186 to 11,562. All figures are monthly totals from Google Search Console.
