Social Media & Content Marketing

Organic content that earns its place: as creative testing ground for paid, and as the topical authority SEO needs.

Organic social and content marketing are the two disciplines most often bought on faith. Posts go out, engagement is reported, and nobody can say what it did for the business.

I approach both by making them serve something measurable. Organic content is the cheapest creative testing ground you have for paid, and it is how SEO topical authority gets built. Run that way, it earns its budget. Run as an activity to be maintained, it usually does not.

What the work covers

  • Content strategy tied to search demand and to paid creative needs
  • Editorial calendar and production workflow
  • Topic and keyword clustering for topical authority
  • Content briefs your writers can work from, Arabic and English
  • Organic social strategy per platform, with formats that suit each
  • Short-form video direction for Reels, TikTok and Snapchat
  • Creator and influencer collaboration: selection, briefing, and measurement
  • Community management guidance and response standards
  • Content audits: what to keep, update, merge or delete
  • Repurposing pipeline from one piece into channel-native formats
  • Performance reporting against reach, engagement and the business metric each piece was for

How organic and paid feed each other

Organic as creative R&D

Posting a concept organically costs nothing and tells you within days whether the angle lands. Put paid behind the winners rather than guessing which of five ideas to fund.

Creator content outperforms brand content

On TikTok and Snapchat especially. Whitelisting a creator’s account to run paid behind their post usually beats both pure organic and pure brand creative.

Content is how topical authority gets built

SEO does not reward volume; it rewards depth on subjects you demonstrably know. That is a content strategy problem before it is an SEO one.

Repurposing, not reposting

One substantial piece becomes a video, a carousel, a thread and an email. Reposting the same asset everywhere is not the same thing and performs like it.

Working in two languages

Arabic content is written natively, not translated. That is a cost decision as much as a quality one: translated content underperforms consistently enough that you end up paying for reach that does not convert. Where a topic genuinely works in both languages, the English version and the Arabic version are usually different pieces with different angles, because the audiences arrive with different questions.

Frequently asked

How do you measure organic social?

Against what it was for. Creative testing is measured by which concepts earn paid budget. Authority content is measured by rankings and assisted conversions. Community work is measured by response time and sentiment. Reporting reach alone tells you almost nothing.

Do you produce the content?

I build the strategy, briefs, calendar and direction, and I review output. Production runs through writers, designers and video editors, native per dialect for Arabic, which is both better and cheaper than routing everything through one person.

How often should we post?

Less often than most schedules assume, and more consistently. Three strong pieces a week beats daily filler, and the filler has a real cost: it trains your audience to scroll past you.

Is influencer marketing worth it here?

In the Gulf, frequently yes. Creator influence is more commercially significant than in many Western markets. The failure mode is paying for follower counts rather than for audience fit, and not negotiating whitelisting so you can put paid behind what works.
